old tease drunken master
he once was with an opera troupe
playing feminine roles
all dressed up in ancient chinese robes
with face painted bright pink and white
he sang, he danced along with
clashing cymbals and forlorn pipes
the music of long time ago
he now is old
funny and warm
a little absentminded
seniority has taken over
loves to drink
and be merry
the super-star at the table
of every family dinner.
