coincidental irony unreasonable doubt

rainy bbq black trash bags cult séance
car breakdown in sri petaling sunday night

turning a year older last respective Friday was

something which I was looking forward to. What
I did not expect was a birthday cake and a song
from my workmates. Hell, I didnot even receive
any birthday wishes from both my mom and bitchy
sister. Coming from my team whom I’ve barely knew
for a month, it really did made my day and I’d really
appreciate their effort. Thank you. My dear comrades
andcomorados. It has been quite sometime since
I had gotten a birthday cake and a song. Last time
it happened was on my twelve birthday I’d presume.
I suppose I did celebrated my birthday with my bunch
of highschool friends, I couldn’t really remember if
we did have a cake and song. Time takes a toll on
my memory. It’s vague to me now.Previous years had
been celebrated with my signifigant other.Last year
was with my bunch of wacky fun loving friends & my
other half in TTDI, Keith’s condo by the pool for a
potluck party. This year, it’s the same spot but different
sort of party.I finally had a bbq party with great food and
company. There weren’t any super great red meat due
to my tight budget, but it was a memorable one for it
started to pour by the eleventh hour. All seven of us
huddled together under the little covered sitting area
by the pool, with the heavy rain lashing cold water on
some of our backs.JP, the magnificient Jantan Jati
creatively made a some-sort of rain coat from the
huge trashbags and put it over Mira’s head.Soon,
the trend caught on and all of us had on our makeshift
black trashbag raincoat, with burning white candles
warming us on the chess-tiled table. It did looked out
of place, rather, it looked like a secret society cult
having a séance, conjuring up spells and curses out
of the remainding leftover food from the bbq pit.
What’s more ironic is that none of us have any
umbrella with us.Keith and my signifigant other ran
up to his apt to get an umbrella, Adrian ran in the
rain with the makeshift raincoat to get his umbrella
from his car down the road.Ten minutes later,
the rain slowed down and we cleared the place up,
gathered our what nots and bid each other goodbyes
in a scurry. The party ended before the midnight.
It had been the best birthday ever for me and
it was a BLAST.I thanked my bunch of wacky fun
loving friends and my other half for making it happen.
I am fortunate to have friends like them. They are indeed
one in a million, little diamonds in the rough.
To my significant other, thank you for putting up with my
antics for the past few years.
I really felt like it was the best weekend of my life, until come

Sunday night when my car refuse to move in which later
stalled in the middle of the divider in between sri petaling
and puchong.Thank God my other half was with me.We
left the car and walked back to his apt. Made a call to
my mom to pick me up , lost her way coming over,
what a hassle.I got home around 11pm,bathed and slept.
The next day I called up my trusty mechanic, checked on
the car and he drove me to work.Today, it was all fixed
& serviced. It cost me a small number of amount.I am
officially broke until the end of the month. After paying
for the what not,I then had to give my mom her monthly
allowance. With this to say,I will be eating no such red
meat until I can afford them. It’s ironic how both happy times
and bad luck could occur in the same period of time.
There is nothing I can do,really.Perhaps just to be glad to
have a job which I love going to everyday, friends who
love me and someone to listen to my sweet &
sour tales for the week.
