cliff hanger mall

I stood amidst the crowd in a busy shopping mall. I didn’t know
how I got there in the first place. I opened my eyes and I was here.
It was as though I wished myself to be here. Whatever the case
might be I will not take heed in such minor fuss. I looked around.
Everyone were busy shopping, people seemed like a blur of
motion to me. I turned around and saw the food court. Strangely,
I manage to spot someone I knew. As I walked towards his back,
judging by his built and sitting manner I knew it was Muff.
In front of him sat a fair lady with the brightest brown eyes and
hair as dark as night. They were so immensely captivated by
each other until he did not even twitch, stir nor notice my presence.
Maybe it is true when they say that time stands still when you meet
the one you love and that all you see is each other. As cliché as it
may sound it does not seem like a very likely
reasonable doubt.
I was standing at least a few inches beside him. I was invisible to him.
He was holding her hands, let me rephrase; they were holding hands,
both elbows on the table, both lost in each others’ gaze. Unbelievable.
Partially I felt happy for him, the other half was doubtful. Nevertheless,
he is happy and that is all that matters to me.
I tore myself away from them and stumbled back into the human traffic.

I caught a glimpse of someone really familiar; Kiki. She waved to me.
She seemed herself, least someone seemed normal and not mesmerized.
I asked her upon being here, she told me that she was with her family.
The next thing which came out from her mouth came as a surprise to me.
She told me that she and her beau had split up. There was no sorrow
nor remorse in her tone.
Funny. It just has been such a wierd day.
She sounded casual about it but I was rather stunned. Everything that
happened today
seemed to knock me out of my chair. This is worse
than Groundhog Day. We then exchanged goodbyes and went on our
own way. Again I was walking aimlessly.
People passing by me seemed like blurry images, yet again.

I crossed the atrium court and decided to head out for I had nowhere to
go nor purpose of being here. I stepped out and BEHOLD….
There below me was a vast bowl like beach with dark grey shoreline,
the longest and widest which I have ever seen.I looked down and I
realized that I was standing on a grey sandy cliff overlooking the
oceanless beach. Yes, there was no ocean.
Instead, there were wave pools
and people were chilling out. It is like a normal day by the beach but without
the sea. This is very disturbing to me.As I surveyed the area, I found myself
standing beside Adi, for no reasonbeing or what-so-ever. He acknowledged
my presence with a boyish grin and stared out. I did the same and everything
gradually fade to white.
